Service Overview

Duty Driver acts as a platform, not a transportation provider. We connect drivers and riders for prearranged rides but do not own, operate, or control vehicles or drivers. Drivers operate as independent contractors, not employees, agents, or representatives of Duty Driver.

User Responsibilities

Drivers agree to:

Maintain valid insurance, registration, and safe vehicle condition.

Comply with all local traffic, base, and TNC (Transportation Network Company) laws.

Not engage in unsafe, illegal, or inappropriate behavior while using the platform.

Riders agree to:

Provide accurate ride details and payment information.

Respect the driver's property and time.

Do not engage in harassment, misconduct, or unsafe behavior.

Payments

Duty Driver processes all payments through a secure third-party provider (e.g., Stripe, PayPal, or equivalent).

Drivers receive payouts minus a Duty Driver service fee (percentage displayed in-app).

Duty Driver is not responsible for third-party payment delays or processing errors.

6. Safety and Conduct

Both drivers and riders agree to:

Follow base and installation rules.

Use Duty Driver only for legitimate, lawful transportation purposes.

Report any incidents, misconduct, or safety issues through the in-app reporting system or support email.

Duty Driver may suspend or terminate users who violate these rules.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Duty Driver and its affiliates are not liable for:

Personal injury, property damage, or lost profits.

Unauthorized access to your account.

Delays, cancellations, or errors by users or third parties.

Termination

Duty Driver reserves the right to suspend or permanently terminate any user account that violates these Terms or engages in fraudulent, unsafe, or illegal behavior.

Data & Privacy

Duty Driver collects and processes limited personal data to provide the Service. All data is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable military and federal privacy standards.

Dispute Resolution

Any disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration in the State of California, unless otherwise required by law.
